For active immunisation of chickens with inherited maternal antibodies against Gumboro disease, and in circumstances where it is necessary to achieve rapid immunity (more age categories on the farm and/or highly unfavourable epizootiological conditions) to prevent mortality, clinical signs and to reduce lesions associated with Infectious Bursal Disease (Gumboro disease).
