Our Delivery Policy

  • We offer 3 methods of delivery:
  • We deliver to physical addresses throughout South Africa, our primary courier partner for direct to door delivery is The Courier Guy however we may make use of and offer additional courier options from other courier partners at checkout.
  • We do not deliver to post boxes.
  • We do not deliver internationally at this time.
  • Delivery Costs: All orders are subject to a delivery charge which will be based on your location using your delivery postcode.
    • A flat rate of R75 will be charged for delivery to a Pargo collection point.
    • FREE PARGO COLLECTION POINT DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER R1000
    • Direct to door delivery cost isΒ variable starting from R95Β and the final cost is dependent on your address and your choice of service between Standard Delivery and Express Delivery.
      • Delivery to addresses within Gauteng starts fromΒ R95
        • FREE DIRECT DELIVERY WITHIN GAUTENG ON ALL ORDERS OVER R1600
      • Delivery to addresses in main centres outside Gauteng starts from R118
      • Delivery to addresses outside Gauteng and not in main centres starts from R125.
      • Some areas may attract additional surcharges for example, plots, farms or mines or any areas requiring special arrangements for delivery. This surcharge will automatically be added to your final delivery fee at checkout.
        • Orders using addresses that are intentionally entered incorrectly, misleading and/or ambiguous destined for an area for which additional surcharges would have been charged will be cancelled and the client will be refunded in full as per our refund policy.
    • Collection / Pick up from our office is free of charge.
  • Once payment has been allocated and your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number to track your order.
  • Delivery lead time is dependent on the delivery option chosen and/or backorder lead time for a few items that are ordered on request.
  • All merchandise is well packed and checked before shipment, however, if in transit damage should occur, please notify the delivery driver and notify our support team as soon as possible either via Whatsapp on 0638240909 or via email by sending an email to online@comvetsa.com. All claims must be made within three days of receipt of the order. 
  • Whilst we endeavour to provide you with the best services, deliveries may be affected by factors out of our control.
  • Delivery addresses can only be changed before payment, once payment has been made, we may be unable to change your delivery details. Should you wish to change your delivery or order details please send an email to orders@comvetsa.com or contact us on our Whatsapp 0638240909.

ANTIBIOTIC DELIVERY POLICY

Valid from 30 June 2021

  • Antibiotics are typically used for treatment of on-going health issues and we realize that time is of the essence for the health of your animals. We unfortunately do not provide a fast track delivery option at this moment and for this reason before placing an order for antibiotics please assess the condition of your animal. It may be better to purchase medication from a local shop to ensure fast treatment as delivery may take between 3 – 7 working days.
  • Where possible we will endeavor to dispatch antibiotics as soon as possible however we can not predict and control how long delivery may take.

For Pargo collection point delivery

Delivery to the collection point takes 3 to 7 working days.

Once your order is ready for collection you will receive an SMS or email notifying you that your order is ready for collection. You will have 7 days to collect your order. If your order is not collected within 7 days it will be returned back to us.

Collections are only done during the operating hours of the nominated collection point. Operating hours of your nominated collection point can be found in the ready for collection email. If you are still unsure you can contact the Pargo customer support team on 021 447 3636.

BACKORDERS

Backorder products are products that are not readily available in our warehouse however are ordered as required from our suppliers. Stock availability is confirmed regularly to ensure the supplier does indeed have the product on hand to minimize the backorder lead time.

Lead times for backorders is variable as each supplier processes orders differently, however, the lead time time for us to receive backordered stock items is 3 to 10 working days dependent on the supplier. The backorder time is not factored into the previously mentioned delivery times.

If your order contains a backorder item, it will only be dispatched once the backorder item has been received at our warehouse.

PRINTED EARTAGS

The processing time for printed eartags is 2 weeks. This processing time does not include delivery, once delivery is factored in the total order lead time is 3 weeks.

Higher stages of loadshedding and/or cable theft and/or prolonged faults may result in delays which will be communicated with you in a timeous manner.

If your order contains printed eartags, it will only be dispatched once the printed eartags are completed.

VACCINE DELIVERY POLICY

Majority of available vaccines are stipulated to be stored at between 2 Β°C to 8 Β°C in a refrigerator. This stipulation is set by the manufacturers not by Comvet Animal Health! The reason for this stipulation is to ensure effectiveness of the vaccines in protecting your livestock from disease. Due to this temperature storage requirement it is off paramount importance that vaccines are transported within the stipulated temperature ranges.

To ensure that vaccines reach you whilst being within the stipulated temperature ranges we make use of cooler boxes with ice packs to keep the vaccine cold during transit however due to the limitation that ice packs will eventually melt we currently can only offer delivery to specific areas to which delivery can be effected within 12 hours.

Due to the requirement to maintain the cold chain the following policies with regards to vaccine delivery apply.

  • Vaccines orders are processed separately from other non-refrigerated items i.e. if your order contains vaccines and other non-refrigerated items your order will be dispatched as two different boxes one for the vaccine and one for the non-refrigerated items.
  • Vaccines are dispatched on specific days.
  • Vaccines can (currently) only be delivered to specific areas and addresses.
    • Address requirements:
      • Address needs to be in a main centre or a regional centre that is serviced daily by our courier partner.
      • Address needs to be searchable via google and must include
        • House / Building / Property Number
        • Street name
        • Suburb Name
        • Town/City Name
        • Postal Code
      • Additionally, it should be in a non-high-risk area as defined by our courier partners.

VACCINE COLLECTION

  • You are more than welcome to visit our warehouse to collect or buy and collect vaccines.
  • If visiting our warehouse please ensure you have confirmed availability of the vaccine available on this platform or by contacting us directly or using the contact us form online.
  • To maintain the cold temperatures required for vaccine storage vaccines will be handed to clients in a cooler box with ice packs. The disposable cooler box and ice packs cost R15 per order, alternatively you can bring your own cooler box with ice packs.
