HOW DOES COMVET CONNECT WORK
Comvet Connect is an online / digital livestock health management consultancy service that is aimed at providing advice and guidance for improved animal health management with advice provided by an in-house veterinarian. Service is offered through our online animal health management platform on which information and advice regarding your livestock’s health management is continuously communicated.
Our in-house veterinarian will create a health management programme e.g. vaccination programme which is viewable online and is detailed to contain, the specific product to be used or alternatives to be used, the specific dates the products are to be used on, the specific animals that the products should be applied to and any other necessary information as requested.
In addition to creating livestock health management programmes, if you need additional management suggestions for ongoing animal health concerns, you can easily submit a case online and get detailed suggestions on how to better manage the issue. In addition to online case submissions the consultant veterinarian can be reached directly via Whatsapp chat or phone call should you prefer. All of the above will be available for the duration of the subscription.

REQUEST A CONSULTATION WITH OUR IN-HOUSE VETERINARIAN.
We schedule a one on one consultation to get to know more about you, your farm and to learn more about the specific challenges or needs for you and your farm. During this consultation you will meet with a consultant veterinarian to discuss and plan your animal health management programme. Consultations can be done online, or in-person at our Johannesburg office.

CREATE AN ONLINE FARM PROFILE AND COMPLETE THE ONLINE CONSULTATION QUESTIONNAIRE.
Create your online farm and add information on the groups of livestock you have to help the consultant veterinarian with planning. You will also need to answer an questionnaire to help the consultant better understand your farm needs and what needs to be prioritized.

MEET WITH THE CONSULTANT TO DISCUSS AND PLAN YOUR HEALTH MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME.
During this meeting the veterinarian will go over the questionnaire with you and begin drafting your programme. This meeting is necessary to get clarity on further aspects that might not have been captured in the questionnaire such as your product preferences, preferred dates for the programme and to raise any other issues you would like to be addressed.
The veterinarian will analyze your questionnaire responses and any information provided during the consultation to draft a recommended programme for your farm. To ensure the effectiveness of the programme, each month an online questionnaire will be made available for completion to enable the veterinarian to analyze and make any necessary adjustments to your programme to ensure optimum performance and productivity in your herd/flock.
